In the Pokémon episodes “Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village,” “Charmander – The Stray Pokémon,” and “Here Comes the Squirtle Squad,” Ash and his friends meet and befriend three iconic Pokémon. In the first episode, they find a hidden village for injured Pokémon guarded by Bulbasaur, who eventually joins Ash’s team after seeing their good intentions. In “Charmander – The Stray Pokémon,” they rescue a neglected Charmander left by its irresponsible trainer, Damian, and after recovering, Charmander decides to join Ash. In the final episode, Ash encounters the mischievous Squirtle Squad, a group of troublemaking Squirtles. After Ash saves their leader from danger, the Squirtle leader reforms and joins Ash on his journey. These episodes highlight themes of trust, care, and redemption as Ash builds his team of loyal Pokémon.
