The American Experimental Film 1943–1989 Booklet

This booklet is the official program for “The American Experimental Film (1943–1989) – A Special Program,” presented during the Second International Festival for Documentary and Short Films held in Ismailia, Egypt from April 16–20, 1992. The program was organized by the Egyptian Film Center in collaboration with the American Cultural Center and highlighted American experimental cinema produced between 1943 and 1989. Its cover features a stylized ancient Egyptian figure holding an ankh, symbolizing cultural exchange between Egyptian heritage and American film art.
